Declaration on nonuse of Persistent Organic Pollutants (POP’s) Covered by Regulation (EU) 2019/1021
POP’s, such as pesticides and some industry chemicals, which can be transported across international boundaries far from their sources and persist in the environment, bio accumulate through the food web and pose a risk to human health and the environment. The continuous release of POP’s into the environment have been of serious concern to the European Union since Regulation (EC) NO 850/2004 of the European Parliament and of the council on POP’s entered into force in 2004. After being amended several times, the POP’s regulation was cast into Regulation (EU) 2019/1021 if the European Parliament and of the Council in 2019.
We hereby declare that according to regulation (EU) 2019/2022 there are no Persistent Organic Pollutants in the products, fabricated, processed or traded by Ampco Pumps Company.
