Mary leaves the sanitary pump and processing industry a 25-year veteran. The last 8 years of her career Mary has spent at Ampco. Seven of those years as part of the regional sales team and her last year as a business development manager.
Mary stated when she started in sales at Ampco she was only one of four other sales women in the sanitary pumps industry at that time. Mary said she has always appreciated the opportunity that Ampco has provided to learn new things and grow personally and professionally. Of her many achievements during her years at Ampco she said she still remembers the day she received a call back from a lead engineer that led to landing Campbell’s as a customer for Ampco.
When asked what she will miss about working at Ampco she said, “It is the great people and the Ampco get things done attitude I will miss the most.”
For now Mary’s plans for retirement include a trip to Colorado sometime in April to greet the arrival of her 7th grandchild, continuing her sewing of quilts for the “Sleep in Heavenly Peace” charity, volunteer work for the Red Cross and catching up on her gardening. Enjoy retirement Mary. We wish you all the best.
