High-Capacity, Gentle on Product Tote Unloading System

Unload totes and bins quickly and safely with up to 99% product removal when you use the ATU from Ampco Applied Products. No heating or diluting of product is necessary.

The ATU utilizes the Bornemann SLH-4G sanitary twin screw pump paired with an inflatable seal suction head that stays sealed to the wall of the tote and bin as it moves down, unloading the contents and keeping them free from contamination. The SLH-4G and included cleaning module are fully CIP-able.

The ATU can unload a wide range of products with viscosities from 5,000-3,000,000 cP with ease. The gentle conveyance and low pulsation operation of the SLH-4G maintains product integrity as the contents are emptied.

The ATU sanitary tote unloading system offers greater energy efficiency when compared to air-driven units. The main system utilizes an efficient electrically powered pumping system and controls, requiring only a small amount of air to lift/lower and seal the bladder to the tote or bin. This combination reduces operational expense.

Large totes and bins can be quickly and easily positioned for unloading due to the self-aligning follower plate bearing pod (Patent-pending).

The ATU’s sturdy modular design offers cost-effective, ease of maintenance.
