It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of our longtime colleague and friend, Peter Kolev.
Peter joined Ampco in 2008 and became an icon within our company and was a tremendous resource throughout the pump industry. His depth of technical knowledge was extraordinary, built over decades of experience and an innate ability to understand pumps and applications in a way few people could.
Peter was the person people turned to when they had a pump problem they simply could not solve. Over the years, he generously shared his knowledge with countless people, leaving a lasting impact on both Ampco and the industry he knew so well.
Those of us who had the privilege of working with Peter will also remember his unmistakable personality, his sense of humor, and the many stories he shared over the years. He truly was one of a kind.
Peter will be deeply missed by all of us at Ampco and by the many people throughout the industry who had the opportunity to know and work with him.
