Technical Sales Representative

Job Summary:

Our growing business based in Herxheim, Germany is adding a Technical Sales Representative in Europe. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing a strong relationship with our existing distribution network throughout Europe, identifying new distributors and working closely with our Managing Director to develop new opportunities. Ampco Pumps GmbH offers a competitive salary and commission incentive. This position is a direct report to the Managing Director. Responsibilities include:

• Working with existing distribution network throughout Europe to develop their technical expertise on our complete product line – sanitary and industrial centrifugal pumps, sanitary positive displacement pumps, mixing and blending equipment
• Identifying and training new distributors
• Collaborating with Managing Director on growth strategies for the Company
• Attend industry trade shows
• Update customer information files
• Working with the office in Herxheim to manage quote requests, demo equipment for customers, and equipment trials

Qualifications and Skills:

• 5+ years of technical pump sales experience
• Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time
• Self-motivated
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English
• Will work from home office (not necessarily in Germany)
