The HST HL2.5 is a disc valve homogenizer, which means that it uses a disc valve to create shear forces that break down the particles. It is designed for low-viscosity and slightly abrasive products.

The HL2.5 comes in a variety of different models variations with different maximum pressures and throughputs. It has a capacity of up to 12 gallon per minute (gal/min) and can handle pressures of up to 10,153 PSI.
